Dress Rehearsal Debbie Downer, & Other Thoughts..
I was VERRRY happy to see last night's rerun of Ben Affleck's SNL appearance from earlier this season. In my journal, I complained that this Debbie Downer skit was kind of blah compared to the Lindsay Lohan one. Well, the wonderful folks at SNL must've thought so too, because they went ahead and showed the DRESS REHEARSAL version, in which they all ended up cracking up, which is what we all WANT! ;D It was funny because, before they showed it, there was a disclaimer saying something like "this is from the dress rehearsal, simply because it worked better". Something like that. And boy do I agree! ;D
I sure needed that laugh! Thanks, Rachel and SNL, for the laughs. :)
I hope there will be a "best of Rachel Dratch" SNL dvd. Meanwhile, I think I will rent Will Ferrell's "best of", tonight. I love "More Cowbell", and "the Lovahs". Hope the Lovahs are on that dvd.

ps: What I would give for Ellen DeGeneres to host SNL again and be in a Debbie Downer skit!!!! Talk about "good TV"! :)

Yes, especially with Ellen being her optomistic self. Oooh, Debbie Downer should be a guest on Ellen's show, someone picked from the audience for not dancing. That would be fantastic!
Yea, that would make a really funny skit! Love it! Debbie Downer could get called up for not dancing, and then proceed to depress Ellen and ruin the rest of her show for the day. heehee ;-D
Nobody can stop Debbie Downer! Not even Ellen!! ;D
