Rachel's Website Now Goin' On!! :)

Rachel Dratch website is now up and happening! :)

Rachel-Dratch.Com

Over the next day or so, this blog will look slightly different. Nothing major, but just thinking of having the week's TV list on the side instead of being a post. And, as I said earlier, I'll only keep a few essential links on the sidebar. The news/blog posts will continue to be here of course. Everything else will be at Rachel's new home on the web.. rachel-dratch.com. :)

Hope you all like!

IT

"IT" will be launched 12 am EST on Feb 22, in time for Rachel's birthday! :)

What is "IT"?? A new website devoted to Rachel. Other than 2 fanlistings (that I know of), a Live Journal Community, and this blog, there isn't anything on the web devoted to just Rachel.. but all that is about to change. :) She will now have her own website!

When it's launched, this blog will still be around as the "news blog". Basically that's what this is anyway. So, nothing much will change other than I won't have the sidebar links (other than "essentials", and "previous posts/archives" links). There will be a section of the new website for all the links I find, organized in categories. Martha Stewart would be so proud! ;)

As part of the website, there is a message board (which is launched now), and you are welcome to stop by and register and post!

Rachel Dratch Forum

The rest of the site will be up at midnight EST on Rachel's birthday. :)

In other news.. wow, Rachel had a great night last night! If you saw last night's SNL, she had alot going on! :) There was even a Debbie Downer! It was a rather odd one, but fun! Somehow Debbie made her way to Hollywood to see the Oscar Ceremonies, on an invite from Hilary Swank, whom she used to babysit. Debbie proceeded to spread her "sunshine" around, until Hilary couldnt take it any longer and left, not even staying to get her Oscar! We didnt see this part, but I think Debbie accepted the Oscar on her behalf. I wonder what her speech was???? I'm sure it was something really bright and cheery!!! ;D

I'll be a bit late on the weekly TV alert list, but will have it posted by later tonight, in time for the new week. "IT" has been keeping me busy! :)

ps: Don't forget the SNL Special.. "First Five Years", tonight!

From the Vault- "Matty in the Morning".

Thank You, Larry, for uncovering this radio interview with "Matty in the Morning", from 2003 (I'm assuming). It's a 10 minute interview and Matty must really love her character "Denise" because he made Rachel talk like Denise for a good part of the time! ;-D Anyway, it's a great interview so have fun listening to it. Direct link is HERE. It will open Windows Media Player and the interview will download and play. If that doesnt work for you for some reason, click HERE and scroll down the names until you see hers, and click on that.

10 Things To Do With Your Lovah on Valentines Day

This is from a poster on the SNL Newsgroup:

10 Things To Do With Your Lovah On Valentines Day~

10. Fill your bellies with ham.
9. Creep down the staircase, silent as mice, and then break the early morning silence with the screams of your love making.
8. Visit the build-your-own omlette station at the prestigous Wesley
Arms Hotel.
7. Practice shin-shi shin-shi, unless your LUVAH thinks it unclean.
6. Make room for 2 more LUVAHs in the ha-tub.
5. Take your LUVAH for a romantic drive in the SubaROO.
4. Cover your bodies with woolen shawls, and savor hot spiced lamb
shanks.
3. Playfully grope your LUVAH's secret cul-de-sac.
2. Enjoy a picnic lunch of goat meat and moussaKA, then make love on each and every picnic table in the park.
1. My back! Ow! My back! Are you deaf? Get the hell off me!
